Since the name 'ProKick' was established (initially as the title carrying the UK and Europe's first regular kickboxing series, which ran from 1990-92), the gym has helped thousands of students, in and out of the ring. It wasn't until the end of 1992 that ProKick gym, as we know it, was set up. As well as teaching self defence and fitness, the gym runs sessions helping weight loss or indeed gain and, most importantly, gives all who take up kickboxing added self confidence.Aside from the first and main gym on Wilgar Street in east Belfast there are gyms in Ballymena, Ballynahinch, Comber, Newtownards, Bangor, Strabane, Dungannon, Newcastle, Lisburn, Falls Leisure centre, Shankill Leisure centre and in Carrickfurgus. You can check the clubs page for more details on the gym closest to you.
