A new Beginner kickboxing course kicked off tonight at the ProKick Gym in the east of the city - over 20 brand new kickboxers started their journey into the sport of ProKick Kickboxing and on a night full of excitement. Tonight our advanced beginners class signed up for more, some of our fighters where back from London getting de-briefed on their performances, other top fighters were in training for our Thai-Tanic event on June 10th. Oh yeah our Boot Camp started back today as well - that's just another normal day at Northern Ireland's Kickboxing School of Excellence.

The new course kicked off for new beginners tonight at the ProKick HQ in east Belfast and will work through the fundamentals of fitness, elements of self-defence and come up with a diet for those serious about getting in shape. “It’s time to lose those extra pounds and get fit,” said Murray.

“At ProKick we have a long reputation for taking everyone who comes through the doors and finding a regime that is right for them.

"We've trained world champions and those keen on burning off a few extra pounds. It’s a fun way to get healthy and it’s open to absolutely everybody.

"Kickboxing isn’t just about getting into a ring – it’s a great way to get in shape and stay in shape.”
